Eligibility Requirements for the MPOWER Women in STEM Scholarship 2026

  • Be accepted at, or enrolled in, a full-time STEM degree program at an MPOWER-eligible school in the U.S. or Canada
  • Be a female student
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be an international student or DACA recipient legally allowed to study in the U.S. or Canada
  • For study in the U.S.:
    • Hold a valid U.S. student visa, or
    • Be a DACA recipient, or
    • Be a U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder)
  • For study in Canada:
    • Be a Canadian permanent resident, or
    • Hold a valid Canadian study permit
  • U.S. citizens studying in the U.S. and Canadian citizens studying in Canada are not eligible
  • You do not need to be an MPOWER borrower to apply
