  • Priority shall be given to;

Required Documents to Apply for the Scholarship

Applicants must prepare and submit the following documents:

  • Completed application form
  • The printout of your application for admission at KNUST (if available).
  • A copy of your WASSCE/Senior High School certificate/result slip (such as WASSCE or GBCE or ABCE or GCE O’Level and A’Level or their equivalent Results). Applicant must have credits (A1 -C6) in the following core subjects: (English Language, Mathematics, and integrated Science) and 3 elective subjects in the relevant area of study.
  • Provide 3 recommendation letters signed and sealed independently by 3 persons of high repute. The recommendation can be Academic (from your head of school or a teacher), Religious (pastor, priest or Imam), community (chief or community leader) and any other relevant classification (mentors).
  • Provide evidence of the estimated income of parents/guardians. E.g, copies of payslips, bank statements (if applicable) or estimated monthly income.
  • Copy of your birth certificate.
  • Attach any other documents that you believe will support your application.
  • Attach the bio data page of your valid passport if you have one. Alternatively, you can submit any of your national ID for the application if you do not have a passport.

Selection Process

  • Only shortlisted candidates will be notified and called for interview, which will be held at the MCFSP at KNUST Secretariat
  • Interviews will be done by an independent panel constituted by the Vice Chancellor of KNUST
  • Verification of all examination results and information provided, as well as community visits of successful applicants, will be conducted before admission is approved
