What the ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship Covers

Eligibility Requirements for the ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship 2025/2026
You must meet all of the following to be automatically considered:
- You must be defined as an overseas student under the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 and must not hold a 995 visa, unless you are enrolling in an eligible postgraduate programme
- You must have received an offer of admission to commence at ANU in an eligible programme — excluded programmes are listed on the ANU Scholarships webpage
- You must meet all conditions of the programme for which you have received an offer, including any requirement to be physically onshore in Australia for certain components
- You must not have previously received the ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship for the same level of study
- You must not be in receipt of an external sponsorship that covers all or part of your tuition fees at ANU
Two programmes are explicitly excluded from the scholarship regardless of all other eligibility criteria: the Doctor of Medicine and Surgery (MChD) and the Master of Military and Defence Studies.

Selection Process
